CHEMISTRY OF EXERCISE

Hello everyone.

First of all I really wanna apologise for the fact that I couldn't update my blogs on Sunday and Wednesday. Got stuck in some work.

So planning to provide a good content to my Audience today.

In this Blog I would be talking about

WHAT'S THE IMPORTANCE OF EXERCISE AND HOW CAN YOU ACTUALLY REMAIN PHYSICALLY FIT?


So lets get started.

Ever wondered why you feel so lethargic throughout the day even when you slept for 8 long hours at night?

I remember at one point of time, I used to wake up at 9:00 am but dozed off again by 11:00 am😂😆.

THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THE ABOVE PROBLEM IS REGULARLY DOING EXERCISE.

LETS SEE WHAT EXACTLY IS LETHARGY?

It's a state where a person feels very tired and drowsy as a result of which he/she simply wants to sleep.

WHY DOES LETHARGY OCCUR?

It occurs because your body is unable to generate enough ATP to give you the required energy. Enough ATP isn't produced because half of the food that you take gets stored in the form of fat which remains unutilised as you aren't doing any physical activity. Due to the absence of any Physical activity, oxygen is not getting distributed eventually in all the parts of your body via the blood vessels. And note one thing that Oxygen is a crucial part of Aerobic respiration. One generates ATP only when he/she respires.

Let me make it a bit more clear.

You go to a shop to buy 20 packets of Oreo Biscuits so that you can distribute those packets to poor children in your locality so that they would be a bit happy and would be motivated to perform better in their studies. But you simply couldn't resist yourself and took all those 20 packets to your home. 

Now its quiet clear that neither those poor children would be happy nor they would be motivated to study and their overall productivity would reduce.

SOMEWHAT A VERY SIMILAR ANALOGY IS FOLLOWED IN LETHARGY AS WELL.

You took all the 20 packets to your home : You ate a lot but didn't do any physical activity after that

Those poor children were neither happy nor motivated to study : Oxygen didn't get evenly distributed throughout your body via the blood vessels due to lack of physical activity

The productivity of those children dropped : Cells were unable to produce ATP due to lack of Oxygen.

WHY EXERCISE REDUCES LETHARGY?

Its because when you do any form of Physical exercise, different parts of your body utilise the remaining ATP to provide you the energy for carrying out that particular physical activity. As cells in different parts of the body get deprived of ATP, one breathes in more oxygen which then gets eventually distributed to each and every part of the body which eventually generates more ATP and one feels energetic.
